Stop Unsolicited Mail

By: Victoria Krauchunas on 24 July 2017

It should come as no surprise that here at Final, we prefer to get our communications via email - that includes any information from credit card or insurance companies. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we still often check our mailboxes to find them stuffed with junk.

Finally fed up, one of our team members found this tip for reducing unwanted mail. We wanted to share it with all of you as well. Karma bonus: cutting down on paper mail helps out the environment as well - there’s not much reason not to do it!

You can opt of our prescreened credit cards and insurance permanently or for 5 years by calling 1-888-5-OPT-OUT or visiting www.optoutprescreen.com. Note that you will be asked to provide personal information such as your telephone number, date of birth and social security number.

If mail doesn’t bother you as much, but phone calls do, you can always register for the National Do Not Call registry at www.donotcall.gov, or call 1-888-382-1222.
